It makes no sense because two LSU officials earlier said they pushed shutting down tomorrow. Why is LSU so insistent on makin everyone show up

Livingston Parish had the superintendent who instituted gender segregated buses in 2001 because he didn’t want boys and girls sitting next To Each other for fear of a sexual epidemic in LP. You had girls sitting on the floor of buses because they didn’t Have enough segregated seats left.

It won’t be below freezing until after 3:00. Why is that a bad idea?
With that many people leaving at once getting off campus is a nightmare. UHS dismisses at 3pm so you add in juniors and seniors and parents trying to get through carpool.
Years ago they made UHS and LSU attend half a day when a hurricane was coming in. We spent over 2 hours trying to get off campus from UHS going past the rec center and out to Stanford.

No one is waiting anxiously to hear the schools are open. Buzzkill

If nothing else, we have learned from this winter that in order to help speed up the warming more douche trucks must be purchased ASAP. That’s as good a reason as any for LP to cancel so the baws can take junior to get a gas guzzler—oh and some truck nuts.

Maybe some of these districts will wait until everyone is asleep and can’t make plans to stay home with their kids to make the announcement in the wee hours.

There was a meeting to discuss it, but you can't read a moron. Too unpredictable.
Friend of mine is a teacher and she received a text sayin they were currently meeting to discuss
Wouldn't make any sense to meet while everyone else essentially closes and not state anything. Unless they say something tomorrow morning, one would think you would allow parents a heads up so people know wtf to do
They have to release a statement sayin hey, we are open or hey we are still evaluating. People have jobs and stuff. EBR is slow as shite so who the frick knows at this point

That was for Ike and they weren't going to cancel class until a tree limb fell on a kid.
