I've stopped model watching. It will drive you crazy at this point so close to an event. I'm watching radars, water vapor images, etc.

Yes. It looks like regardless of how much or if any snow we get, there's going to be some huge impacts from a great deal of freezing rain and sleet.

They have backed off on the sleet here in Beaumont til after 7 am. Temp is only 44 right now.

Freezing rain is the worst. When surfaces are cold enough, it forms "sheets" of ice on everything, including roadways.

What are these looking like?
Lake Charles went from 2-3" snow and 1/4" ice. Now it's less than 2" snow but up to 1/3" ice.
