Terrebonne Parish School officially shut down tomorrow.

This whole thing looks like a huge HUGE bust from my standpoint, at least as far as southern LA is concerned. Watch, they'll get record snow in places like Montgomery, Mobile, Birmingham, Atlanta, et. al.

About half a inch of sleet and snow on the ground here in NW Calcasieu now and still coming down. We had about 1/4 inch of freezing rain before that, roads here are fricked

It's been a steady light rain in NOLA for about an hour, once the tempature drops it's going to be a mess around here.

Mine has been outside since 10. Would probably be about an inch if she hadn't trampled it down.

Honest question. What were you expecting at this point? The time line for the heaviest precipitation is still intact and no one was saying that we are supposed to be in blizzard conditions right now. They started to move the time line a bit earlier yesterday based on what they were seeing at the time, but the original time line remains the same.
With that said, certain areas could end up with nothing, welcome to winter weather forecasting. I've been saying this since last year.

So, has anyone seen any snow yet? Not a damn thing over here. Slight drizzle earlier but that's it. I get the feeling the meteorologists are pot committed and are afraid to retract their snow claims.

The temps are now projected to remain above freezing. We saw how spot on they've been so far though.
