In CB’s case, it was the intent and attempt to completely change the identity of a brand that people loved, wiping away the whole rural cafe feel and replacing it with a hipster-influenced decor. In short they tried to turn Cracker Barrel into Crate and Barrel.
Hmm. I suppose I underestimated the average guy's passion for interior decorating.

Boycotting a restaurant because you don't like the change in decor

I go maybe once a year if that often. The food isn't as good as it once was but I might if we're traveling and I want some down home cooking.

People that eat at CB had a mother that couldn’t cook a lick.

My mother, my wife, my ex-wife, my mother-in-law, and my ex-mother-in-law are or were all great cooks, and I eat there occasionally. I don't frequent the place, but I have rarely had a bad experience there.

Probably not. The food and service has had a noticeable drop off during the last 5 years or so.

Cracker Barrel is probably the blandest chain anyone could go to. The food is decent but it’s predictable and you know what to expect.

I eat it like once every 3-4 years and will probably continue along that trend. It ain’t great but for whatever reason it’s good on a roadtrip

Had the herb roasted chicken, okra and green beans Sunday night after church. Server was pleasant and attentive. Couldn’t give a flip if the logo changes or how many antiques they put in storage.

Maybe. Wasn't a priority before and still isn't.

Probably, but I have only eaten there a few times over the past five or six years. I think I've eaten there once since the Covid nonsense. It has gone way downhill in recent years. The food is bad and the service is worse. It ain't what it used to be.

Your anti woke bravado is going to take away an anti woke job of server, cook or both.

Think before you anti-anything.

The last time I was at Cracker Barrel was 2013 for lunch during a 2 day job interview so...No. But not because of some retarded boycott

What about Dennys? I love their country fried steak and herbal corn. Great stuff.
