The only reason I'd go to New Orleans was to get olive salad from the Central Grocery. But I've been able to buy it in stores here in Baton Rouge for several years now. So I'm good... No reason to go back there.

No. I'll be out in the city in a few hours likely.

NOLA has been out of my rotation some time now. This adds another reason. It has ALWAYS been a soft target.

The fact that it has become as appealing as Juarez after 10pm has been my main reason for over 5 years.

Previous attacks haven’t stopped me from going to New York, Vegas, or Toronto so why would this one? I’ll be there for Mardi Gras but not the quarter.

Way more likely to killed by a NOLA native than a terrorist. I’m not even considering this attack in my decision making.

There typically aren’t 10 just purely random murders of unsuspecting individuals in NO each year.

Trash, filth, the smell, thugs, crime, politicians, traffic, social norms.....enough to keep me out of New Orleans. Since 2020, I've only been out of my car in that cesspool maybe 4 times. Twice for a wedding. Only once because I actually chose to go due to my own decisions.

No. NOLA has been keeping me from going to NOLA long before this shite. I haven’t been there since before COVID, and LaToya’s stupidity with that pretty much made me write it off entirely.

I wasn’t going before, due to the locals. Terrorists wasn’t even on my radar, but just pushed the point home even further

nah

I live in the shite hole of Baton Rouge

And Chicago, Baltimore, Memphis and Detroit are much worse than NOLA.

I’d throw in Jackson, MS, but that’s just a wanna-be city.
