Here's a roundabout way the perps could be found;

Mrs. Guthrie was bleeding when she left her home. I think the police have veritied that it was her blood on the front porch. OK. So her body was not carried by a person or a horse or mule away from that house. She, bleeding was placed in a car, truck or van.
At some point in the future that van car or truck will be sold and maybe the buyer will see something that looks brown. And contacts the FBI to test for blood origin.
OR, they have already burned the vehicle. How many vehicles are burned in southern Arizona this month and most of them will have vehicle ID numbers somewhere in them. If you're burning a vehicle you don't stay there to see that the engine block number is obscured.

She's in witness protection. I think that's her.

Reminds me of the Mari Ann Fowler disappearance (likely at the hands of Derrick Todd Lee).

She was likely dead within an hour or two. Sad for the family. It's definitely taking it's toll. Savannah used to look pretty cute, and happy. Now she's looking rougher every day. Their lives will never be the same.

I’d rather them update on finding the innumerable children that go missing every year. Sure, keep us updated on her, but she is no more important than the next person except to family.
