Yea O'Neal was pretty adamant about doing all the talking himself too....seems like he knew he was smarter than Hayes and was the best shot and making the situation as best as it could possibly be for Hayes.

I think he is the guy that works in the media. I assume this is the video that was deemed inadmissible because the owner worked in the media.

Hayes says, "They charged us" then is told to be quiet. That is when his friend starts with the spin.
I feel bad for all involved. Hayes may in fact be a good dude. He got caught up in events and now has a manslaughter conviction.

It sounds like he's a cop interrogating them on the street, and they are wilfully answering him. Just very strange for a "witness" to approach a suspect and interrogate them on the situation in the middle of the street
