It's nearly impossible that Hayes actually got out the car with the gun. You would have heard all of the other witnesses mention it and Hernandez certainly isnt charging 2 6'5" black men, one with a gun in his hand
I mean his passenger has stated he got out the vehicle with the gun....

Wish I had a better idea of distance, cause 11 shots were fired. 10 on target, 1 close miss. Mr. Hayes is a hell of a shot. A 45 is recoil city. I shot one in competition in the Army. Rapid fire is a bitch to do accurately.

You said you were taught to do it like was described earlier. That earlier description included a pause. Don't backtrack now.
I was taught to neutralize a threat, not think in the back of my mind that I better not pause more than 2 seconds between shots. what if I had a bolt action?

You aren't taught to shoot twice and stop. If anyone is silly, it's you.
I was taught to neutralize the threat. That may be one shot or it may be 30.

If you shoot, then the target moves, wont you have to pause to re aim? You are being weird about this, even for you

If the threat is moving, it isn't neutralized.

The guy originally said pause and said it's commonly taught. That's bullshite. But not surprising you're going against me just because it's me. I could say the sky is blue and you'd say I was being weird.

the cop said 4 seconds and the other guy said 10. his argument looks foolish as always.

really seems like a guy who was a set out to murder Will Smith (sarcasm)
Being upset with the realization of what you've just done, doesn't take away the act. It is nice that he clearly felt some remorse for his actions, but we don't know whether it was for the fact a man was dead or because of the consequences he faces.
I don't think Hayes is some thuggish killer out on the prowl to kill anyone and everyone. I think he's an idiot that badly handled the situation and will have to serve his punishment for his actions whether he be convicted of Murder 2 or manslaughter, though.

So not a commonly taught technique, which is what diat claimed. Thanks.

Your post earlier said it's a commonly taught technique when you were responding to the post about pausing. Just admit you overplayed your hand already.
I said you are taught to shoot until you neutralize the threat. where exactly did I say anything different?

If the threat is moving, it isn't neutralized.
no shite. thats what I said the whole time.

you dont think its weird that the same people that want to put Hayes away haven't mentioned him getting out the car with a gun under oath?

You think shooting someone twice, then taking a few steps, and then shooting them 5 more times in the back is the reasonable force necessary to end "the threat" (if there even was one) ?
I'm withholding any OPINIONS in who was right or wrong that night bc I don't have all the facts. I'll say this though. If someone is going for a gun to show me what to do with it, I'm shooting until they're not moving anymore. So yes, it's sensible to me that if I shoot twice and they're still going for the gun, I'm getting in better position to end the threat and shooting some more. This might send me to prison, but I'll be alive.

That's not what you originally said actually.

Around page 74.

You don't think it is weird that Hayes is being quoted as saying that he left the vehicle with the gun and that his passenger has stated that he left the vehicle with gun?
I have no idea how he was holding the gun and it seemed like a chaotic situation. It is certainly reasonable that Smith was focused on her husband and the crazy friend was acting crazy

I don't understand your deal with me. The guy said something that's bullshite. I correct him, and you're saying I'm the one with the issue.

Would someone either confirm or correct who man in "red shirt" was? Hayes or O'Neil?
