This is stupid logic. If I get into an argument with a stranger my wife won't be concerned about the other person because she has no control over that person. Shell be concerned about me, because she has more control.

Agreed, definitely throwing shite at the wall with that one.

Agree with this. I just have a hard time understanding why so many seem to be siding with the guy who, from at least most accounts, killed an unarmed man. I now this board has a tendency to be contrarian, but this is a little much.

Those who argue this don't know that Murder 2 in LA has a different definition than most other states and is fine for this case.

If you think its manslaughter, you think its murder 2. There's no difference in the present facts.

He either acted in reasonable self-defense or he didn't.

If he did, you think he gets off. If he didn't, Murder 2 is the charge.

Once again, I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think you are correct. The jury can cite "heat of passion" to get it down to a manslaughter from Murder 2.

I've been keeping up with the WWL twitter timeline on today's testimony and it's fricking mindboggling that this river trash fgt Hernandez got Will Smith killed.

FWIW, Pierre just confirmed that this pussy ran and left his wife and his friends as soon as he heard gunshots.

maybe she had seen him act in a hostile way before and make a bad decision?

It's just a mini facebook here

People rush to be opinionated instead of educated (not talking about anyone specifically that's been in this thread) and that's why I come asking questions instead of flopping my dick on the table like I'm a big shot

Have you ever testified?

Opposing counsel tries to confuse and twist what you say.

there is no rule that says someone has to be armed in a self defense case.

All Murder 2 requires is a homicide and specific intent to kill. Shooting someone in the back 7 times would be specific intent to kill.

There's nothing in the statute that covers premeditation or anything like that anymore.

Its a source of confusion.

Manslaughter is a catch all for passion crimes or no specific intent to kill.

In the present case, Hayes could be charged with either and its fine. That is common.

They maybe should have gone with manslaughter to avoid confusion but its perfectly fine in this case in reality.
