Compromise verdict. Very common, and when a jury goes 4+ hours it's likely. He'll get 35-40 from her.

That is on his attorney as he should have said he heard a large popping sound which scared him into shooting. The fact his attorney didn't think about clarifying that up was bad lawyering.

Yes, you are still held unless they dismiss. Defendant needs 10 votes to win and be released.
