Cardell Hayes is still facing an aggravated assault charge from the night Will Smith was shot. Set for pre-trial on his sentencing date.

Most people will be fine with this verdict. He's going away for quite some time. If he would have got off completely like a few were saying, then many people would have been really mad.

Holidays, Mardi Gras, post trial memos, and a Pre sentence investigation by probation and parole. It will likely get pushed back further if the family wants to speak.
