You're right there with me. Keep on being a hypocrite though.

In case you didn't notice, you aren't smug to just me.

Nobody in here on the prosecutions side can lay out a testimony or evidence of how the last moments of the shooting went down

Hayes testimony itself proves that he thinks he was doing something wrong to have had so many versions of the way it went down. And if he didn't then he perjured as a last minute attempt to spare himself prison. Seems like someone who would do either of those is guilty.

I'm honest when I say I wouldn't feel any less safe or that justice wasn't served if he walks out of they god forsaken place of OPP next week.

It's not about how you feel though. Hayes didn't seem like some terrible guy before this, but he reacted to something by killing one person and shooting another. Smith was definitely no angel, but he was a father of three, a husband and a child to someone. If Smith was your relative or friend, I guarantee you wouldn't want Hayes going free just because this might have been an isolated incident and he's not really a "threat to society." There still has to be consequences for actions and a real sense of justice. Serving 8 months in any prison while waiting for trial does not seem like a reasonable sentence for shooting and killing a man and wounding another.

And let's face it, we all know that Hayes flat-out lied on the stand yesterday. He had never mentioned Smith as having a gun before yesterday and all of a sudden Smith had a gun and actually fired at him first. No one else said that (including his passenger/friend) and the evidence does not back that up. He said he didn't believe he shot Smith 8 times and that his gun was firing fast and that he didn't expect it to go off that many times. He said he was trying to stop it from firing. He said he didn't shoot Racquel either. The guy's lies were laughable yesterday and he wouldn't even take responsibility for his actions.

As Napoli discusses Hayes's contradictory testimony, Hayes sits at defense table and shakes his head left to right in short, quick motions.

I still don't know why the jury can't keep notes

Trying to put myself in their shoes and that makes this even tougher

Fuller is up now. All he has to do is convince a few of these black jurors. I dont think it is out of the realm of possibility given what is going on in america right now

That's so far from the truth it's laughable.

I don't care whose side you're on.

I can't stand the name calling and bickering.

And the problem I have with Hayes is the 7 shots in the back, the fact that he chased down Smith and rammed him. Then the 7 shots in the back. That's not self-defense.

Hayes is delusional. Forensics prove shots to the back, but Hayes testified that he never got behind Will Smith. Were they magical flying bullets that traveled a different route from Hayes' gun?

Get real.

Fuller will probably address the jurors wearing a preacher robe.

He just responded to another tweet saying it was awful and cringeworthy. Said he was likely doing it because he knew fuller would give a great emotional "sermon", but Napoli just came off goofy with it

I was ok with Hayes before he testified. Once he crossed that line and started making up shite that went against everything that was presented before that, including his own people, I am for a guilty verdict of some kind.

Mordock has already addressed this. He said fuller will be very animated and emotional but he is fantastic at it

It seems Napoli tried to match it by going out of character and trying to cry, and it came off cheesy

Attack Mordock not me
