Yeah that’s fine if you’re basing your stance on select passages of the Bible. I’m not. The Bible isn’t some trump card you can play here to make your grand point that all life is precious, Bc no i don’t believe all life is precious. I simply think an unborn baby is more valuable than a murderer. A murderer’s life is worthless.
If it’s really just a cluster of cells, of the type that routinely die naturally in early miscarriages, then I don’t have any argument.

The statistics look like its a toss up. Abortions peaked in the late 70s. Crime peaked 1980. Crime should be a lagging indicator but both have been dropping since. No subsequent rise in crime rates as abortion percentages have declined as a part of the overall population. Not sure about the demographic breakdowns or if that would bolster or weaken the argument.
Regardless of that, there are moral arguments in this that would make any statistical argument moot for some. As such it is an almost pointless debate.
