Imagine a country where a violent criminal subset of a single race of people commits a ridiculously disproportionate amount of the crimes (to the point that giant swaths of our great cities are uninhabitable) and yet somehow convinces the much larger portion of society that is meticulously observing the social contract that they are to blame for it. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you:

Serious question. I have 80k photos of family/friends/events over 18 yrs. I recently uploaded them all to Google Photos Cloud and I played with the Facial Recognition on my top 30 or so Friends and Family. That shite is incredibly powerful.
So my question is: Is law enforcement able to use these screen shots and work with Facebook/IG/Snap/Google to run a facial recognition script on each of their faces? Or do they have to be in violation of the Patriot Act type shite to get authorization to do that?
Going another step, think these Nest and Home surveillance videos of burglars/home invasion POS's would be a shite ton more effective if the local authorities had this ability to quickly and cost-effectively take a police report and media and run it through Facebook/IG/Snap/Google for matches.
