You understand that all of this can be drawn from the article in the OP, correct?

I'm very close to someone quoted in that article. He's driven me crazy talking Pusser for 10 years. Never thought it would go anywhere.

If you need more proof he was slightly misquoted. He wasn't a Sheriff. He worked for the Sheriff's department.

Gun shot angles?

Exactly. Looking for exit vs. entry wounds that I think would corroborate or refute Buford's account.

But you would still need a way to determine which way she was facing.
If she looked backward to see what was going on she could of took one to the front.
If she was cowering low and they pulled up beside, she could've taken one to the side...or from the back,,,

Angles will not prove anything different than what is speculated now.

She's dead, he's dead, unlikely anyone alive who was involved. Seems like a waste of time and taxpayer's money to have the TBI investigating this.

They let criminals go with no bail, and allow them to come across the southern border unrestricted. Anything they can do to tear down old heroes and make everyone just give up hope and all resistance furthers their cause.

They’re actively trying to tear down our society so they can be on top when they build it back better in their globalist utopian image.

Not the case here. Pusser was a world class scumbag. All his movies stuff is a made for Hollywood false narrative.

Old heroes.

If your hero killed his wife, you would rather stick your head in the sand and pretend it didn't happen because he's infallible in your child-like views.

If someone can prove a previously unsolved murder, then you do it.

No man who kills his wife is a hero; he's a Grade A piece of shite.

I will say this, something better come of digging up the old bones or your author friend is going to lose the rest of his sanity.

Just a brief dive into his online presence shows that he has a full-on obsession that cannot be healthy. He's all over the interwebs challenging everyone, calling names, and shouting detractors down. Judging by one of the few reviews of his self-published book, he ain't much for spelling or grammar. Keep a watch on him if nothing comes of this. The ol' baw might have nothing left to live for.

That's an understatement. He started as a huge fan of Pusser. He thought he could use his detective skills to figure out who did it.

Every rock he turned over showed Pusser was lying. Then everything started pointing right at Pusser. He's interviewed everyone involved. He taped all the interviews because many are old and have passed. He's been at this for 10 years or so.

So, is the theory Pusser took the risk of shooting himself in the face to make it look like an ambush?

Did he have accomplices?

Did he remarry or have a GF shortly thereafter?

Was there a life insurance policy on his wife?

Now 56 years later they have exhumed Pauline's body for autopsy as a result of a new tip.

How are they gonna dig up a decaying corpse and look at it and say "yup, she was shot and it was Buford's fault"

Wait and see. When it's announced I'll be in that thread and give you some info.

That could all be found in a Google search.

GTFOOH. If you have something, spill it.

Unless you claim to be on the crack investigation team?

His face was quite mangled from the gunshot or shots. If self inflicted he was sure trying hard to sell it.

Perhaps they have found new evidence. They didn't dig her up grasping at straws. They are most likely trying to confirm something they already know, but are being thorough.

But can it actually be proven? Beyond a reasonable doubt?

The major players are all dead, they can’t defend themselves.

Who knows. But let it play out.

Or you can clutch pearls about heroes from bygone days. That seems pretty popular around here.

It doesn't even take that. The author quoted in the article lays it all out on his YouTube channel. Then, vehemently defends it all in the comment section on his videos. You can buy his book for $30 on Amazon or listen to him go over it all for free. I've done neither.

Kirksy McCord Nix, the stateline mob, and Dixie Mafia were all in on that killing and tried to kill him as well.
This is an important point. With one of the people strongly believed to have been involved still alive and in the federal pen, the case is still relevant.

Besides, the truth is always of interest.
