Awe. That's sweet of her to get that for you. I know you've been wishing for that doll house.

Your FIL cursed the failure that his daughter married the entire time he put it together

I bet your father in law hates that his daughter married such an effeminate male

The father in-law has no confidence in your mechanical abilities as a man baw.

This isn't a win.

Unless you work for your wife's father or have to get his permission before fricking her, how is it not a win?

How is that winning? You look like a PoS letting an old man do your work.

He can probably kick your arse IRL.

1. His father in law doesn't trust his mechanical abilities. That's embarrassing.

2. He's celebrating slipping out of fatherhood responsibilities and the feeling of pride once he's finished doing this for his daughter.

C'mon buddy it's not hard to see this. Merry Christmas btw :)

Letting grandpa put something together while you sit on your arse.

I have too much pride for this.

To keep at his house? Or are you going to have to deliver a fully assembled 5'x6' doll house?

Every random, mundane occurrence needs its own thread.

Your wife will be pegging you against the side of that house in the morning.

How do you intend to get it home.

Even in a truck the wind is going to be tough on the roofing tiles. The hundreds of roofing tiles held on by carpenters glue.

I'll never be embarrassed by someone else's perception of me. That kind of thinking is embarrassing.

Santa gets all the credit anyway. I applaud OP for his craftiness. I hope he's the one to tell grandpa that he can never tell the child what he did.

Worrying about this is a little insecure, IMO.
