Nah, not really. Expensive polos from my experience are made for 5'8" 250 lb fatties

I swear to god that is the only person a Perlis polo or a Vineyard vine polo would fit

These are what the majority of my dress shirts are except a variety of colors. They are way too thick and just don’t feel good. This polyester material is so light and comfortable. Won’t know the feeling until you try it

Brooks Brothers Non-Iron Supima Cotton Dress Shirts.

I keep ten in my work wear rotation, when they start to get threadbare on the cuffs and/or collar, they go to Goodwill.

(About 40-50 wearings)

“Dress for the next job you want” means not wearing polyester dress shirts.

This.

I have some shirts that are 10+ years old and they still come out of the dryer looking like I just starched them.

Vineyard vines you can get some slimmer fit, but I don't disagree. I've moved almost exclusively to golf polos like Peter Millar.

Are better than others.

It isnt a money thing either. Unless you can get custom made shirts, brands fit people differently. Nautica polos happen to fit me best.

Peter millar is my go to dress shirt

Also, both of these shirts are Peter Millar. One is polyester 100%, and one is cotton 100%. Not sure why some in here think cotton looks better or classier......

Both of those are horribly fitting, I agree.

Get some Peter Millar in your life. They have different fits though, so try them on. Also, don't get the flimsy collar ones, they curl and I hate that.

I love Peter Millar button downs, but they aren't super dressy. I wear them with jeans, not a suit and tie.
