Get some Peter Millar in your life
Weirdly enough, I still like the look of traditional thicker polos. Millar doesnt really do those well, or at all really IMHO

Do you wear a clip on tie, too?

Ah, then yeah, I can't help you.
I hate that look on me. I've got long, skinny arms and those types ride up and look awkward on me.

I love Peter Millar button downs, but they aren't super dressy
Which Peter Millar makes great polyester ones

Brooks Brothers Non-Iron Supima Cotton Dress Shirts.
This is what I do.
Buy 3-4 a year with their sales and rotate them. Trick to long last, in my experience, is wash them on cold then hang dry them. Once dry, just spritz with water and put in drier for a short spell. Or just hang them in the shower and they iron right out.
Milano is a solid slim fit and Regent a good mid-size.

Here is a cutter and buck polyester dress shirt (some nylon as well involved)
Looks great and 10x the comfort and wrinkle reistance as cotton
You must work at a mall kiosk selling phone cases.
