Understand what?

Do you plan to get the flu shot every year and 4 COVID shots every 8 months for the rest of your life?

You plan to make your kids do the same?

I would laugh IRL if you were this zealous in flu threads pre Covid. You act like all you've ever said in these threads is "I encourage all my fellow citizens to get the covid vaccine, because I personally feel it is a net benefit to society."

I don't care enough to search historical threads, so I'll give you the win of rewriting your own history. It's yours afterall.

Thanks for agreeing that the vaccines are not yet approved by the FDA.

People who like to travel without restrictions. This is going to be required to travel soon. I don't agree with it but it's coming

I hated the flu shot...I still caught the flu 3 times over the 15 years I took it...it also made me groggy for the day.

I've caught it zero times in the 5 years since. 0 days groggy.

Why do you care if someone takes the vaccine? How does it affect your life?

I couldn’t give two shits whether someone decides it’s in their best interest or not to do it.

I got vaccinated to help people in situations like this, relatives and strangers alike. I have friends that won’t get vaccinated, and it’s not like I’m going to end friendships over it. But I do think people that refuse to even entertain the idea of vaccinating to protect others are selfish.

Stop worrying about what other people do and mind your own damn business.

You’re far less likely to contract COVID-19, thus far less likely to transmit it to others.

The fewer people that get this virus without immunization, the less likely two things occur:

1. Someone immune compromised gets it
2. Virus further mutates

Vaccine has been given to hundreds of millions of people. Trials faced unprecedented scrutiny, just in a truncated timeframe. If you don’t get it, that’s fine, it’s your call - but don’t act like you know what the frick you’re talking about because you don’t.

And I’ve been an “open it up for young healthy people” champion since last April.

I get the flu shot every year for free at work. All 3 of my kids have had the Covid vaccine. No big deal, aside from the fact that the government now tracks our every move.

I get it, but why are we at the point of lining up to get an experimental vaccine just so our government let's us live life as usual?

Thats a bigger issue

Because no one has ever obsessed about whether or not I got a flu shot.

Why would any sane person bitch and moan like a pussy about a vaccine with a 100% recovery rate? Lol

Wait a second. I literally put my life on hold for these people you speak of. Now they can get vaccinated or know enough by now to protect themselves.

Why am I now selfish for letting the people who really need and want it go first.

People like you fricking suck. I did my part, now do yours and leave the rest of us alone.

Completely anecdotal...
I know 6 people that were completely vaxxed that still caught the rona.
Granted 4 live in the same household. They were pissed.

I'm not sure if the vax or just catching the rona is safer, but one is a choice to take a risk.

Did I say otherwise? And that’s not guaranteed, by your admission.

You’re arguing a point I didn’t make because I didn’t say anything incorrect.
