I wouldn't flatter yourself like that judging by the drivel you've posted in this thread.

If you think he is bad or "weak" enough to cheat on then you should just break up with him. It shows your own weakness and lack of integrity that you think that you can ever justify the behavior.

Why can't your keep you pants on and try to work things out with him?

If it doesn't work out, break up, then you are free to go have sex with anybody you want.

While you're in the relationship, you need to respect the commitment you've made until the very end.

I guess I'm covered since I am a distant a-hole half of the time, right? The other half is doing activities and banging. After that, I go back to doing wtf I feel like doing

Before your edited, you said you were faithful to your SO while a couple pages back you said you were sometimes a cheater.

From a woman's perspective...

I was sometimes a cheater. Not in great relationships. A few, I didn't cheat on, because they were good to me.

Now, in a relationship with a man I could never cheat on. Not married, but he is my best friend. I am strong willed, but he is the "man" of the relationship. I think that is important. When women sense weakness, they look elsewhere. Sometimes, I think the man is trying to give the woman what he thinks she wants, but he only comes across as weak. Women (if raised right) want our men to protect us.

Problem with this perspective is that it's setting yourself up for failure. If you're prone to cheating , you'll rationalize. No one is the perfect friend and protector long term.

Things will get boring, you'll start feeling sorry for yourself, someone exciting will come along and the pattern will repeat.

Never cheated on this man. He is amazing, and I am faithful. Be a decent man and women will respect you.

I edited because I didn't want to bring up my rape...

I find your writing and posting style creating and engaging, and many times (like now) enlightening as well. You would be #1 if it were not for Pectus's "AMA about ROCKS" threads, as I am a fan of rocks but to be honest, he hasn't done one of those in a while so maybe I need to reorganize the list.

You could be taking home the gold here soon.

Thanks. I vacillate between laconic and verbose. Some points are better made with a bullet than a barrage.

People are wired to cheat. Humans weren't meant to have only one sex partner, tbh.

The rub is that it's better for society at large to have stable, nuclear families. Monogamous relationships are the foundation of that.

Therefore, we have this conundrum.

Sorry babe, once a cheater, always a cheater.

It's a stain that can't ever be removed.

”she'd had to buy a separate hard drive to store them all.”

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read.

Yeah. Why the frick is she saving all that shite?

While that is dumb, it’s understandable. A woman (or man) in that situation would probably enjoy looking back over messages from their emotional affairs. The reason it’s ridiculous is there’s no way text-only files are going to necessitate a separate hard drive.

Only thing that would make sense is if each message had a dick pic attached. Even then, a USB thumb drive would do.
