Idk even know why this became political? The goal was to keep hospitals from being overun. It happened two months ago. This is just pure primal fear at this point. Almost agoraphobic.

it used to be such a great site before it became popular. I started using it in 2011, and back then it was all Ron Paul/techie libertarians. I think it started dying in 2015, and now is just a ghost of its former self.

Ehh I have family members/friends who voted for R and still want to continue the lockdown. I think it is more authoritarian people on both sides at this point.

Our leader panicked, confided in the wrong people and avoided/displaced all leadership and responsibility. His lockdown is getting blown up now.
What could go wrong with requiring a 14 day decline prior to opening back up but then leaving it up to each state to do their own thing?
You can’t spin this one to have it both ways buddy. This blunder comes straight from the top and the states are blowing it up.

Because it's a state/local government issue? I mean should NYC be directing the response Iowa has? I mean first it's all his fault for the lockdown, now it's all his fault because he let states decided when/where to lockdown. Are you going to be consistent anywhere in this post?

By definition you can't quarantine the healthy. It's called "cordon sanitaire".
