Didn't Koresh go jogging the morning of the assault? They could have grabbed him then and tried to negotiate with his followers but they had camera crews on hand to film their "dynamic entry" tactics.

The tactical moniker is bullshite, but I have several compact led flashlights. They are very useful (they're flashlights...) and the technology has come such a long way that something barely larger than a pencil can light up an entire football field, if you need it to. Not the crap you see at convenience stores, but a nice one like a streamlight or surefire.

I love mine, great size for a small person, solid and heavy, great to smack someone with if necessary, doesn't roll around and has several beam options.

I haven't read this thread but I can tell you that those LED flashlights are legit when tracking a deer in the dark, or doing pretty much anything else outdoors in the dark when you can't see.
