Is this christian virtue signaling? I'm not an believer, but I say merry christmas during christmas. I don't go out of my way to be an a-hole. What going on with the SJW behavior?

We get it, you're trying to be funny by being ironic. It's not working.

Why capitalize every word in your subject line?

Is saying goodbye virtue signaling? It means God be with you.

God be with you and may you have a blessed day today!

That's why this offends you. Perhaps they are trying to follow the tenant of love your fellow man. Be offended by something else.

No, I sincerely not trying to be funny. Let's find common ground? Does it make you cringe just a little when someone doesn't say "please" or "thank you?" I do because "please" and "thank you" was polite for most of my life? Not everyone says "please" and "thank you" now. I cringe because it's irritating. However, I know people are not intentionally being impolite "please" and "thank you" is just not something everyone says in 2019.

However,"have a blessed day" is said intentionally and it's irritating, but I pretty sure this is just something I should get used to. I'm sincerely asking because I want to understand why people are saying "have a blessed day?"

Probably to encourage you. Look around and see all the blessings before you.

You probably won't be philanthropic if you make money nor will you volunteer for "good causes". That's likely because "good causes" will offend you. Go through life being offended and self-centered until you need someones help. I hope all goes well for you in life and "have a good day".

This is the strangest thing to be irritated about. Why so militant against someone wishing you well or wishing you blessings? You may be a Godless heathen, but that doesn't mean everyone else is.

I go to Serop's express about once/week for lunch, and the guy over there always tell's me, "God bless you" when i leave, and it's a very nice gesture. I can't imagine getting angry that someone would wish the blessings of the Lord over me.

Believe it or not, majority of the world has faith in one religion or another. In Christianity, that faith is symbiotic with love. God is the father, and through him, all things are made. So when someone says, "have a blessed day" it's typically meant as a genuine gesture of well wishing.

As someone else said, find something else to get offended about.

Sounds like you’re the SJW snowflake that’s getting offended and his feelings hurt over words.

Don’t like it then just ignore it and move on about your day.

But nope, snowflakes gotta snowflake and announce to the world that he’s offended.

They’re basically saying, “I don’t know you but I hope good things for you.”

...and it's mostly said (at least from my experience) by middle-aged black women. Peace be with you!
