This shouldn't be a surprise.

People are eating/drinking more and moving less. You have grown men that will work 8-10 hours in front of a computer, then come home and sit on the couch and pound a few beers, eat pizza, and play video games.

On top of that people are not very good about staying on top of their health... i.e. labs, regular doctor visits, etc

Would not be surprised if you pulled data on the introduction of social media on a mainstream level to see a correlation with increase in strokes. I’ve convinced the step kid to go to the gym with me when she’s here but I know when she’s at her Mom’s they don’t do shite but sit on their phones and watch TV/YouTube.

Yea…. That’s how I got in trouble.

Damn doctor told me I could have a stroke at any time. Later that day I got arrested for jacking off in the park.

I mean… any time is any time, right??

You must be mistaken. That's the whole point of the thread. Unpossible!

This is what a good bit of America looks like and their families will post "he was so healthy, it must've been that dang ole clot shot that gave him a stroke" on Facebook

Im willing to bet the rise of energy drinks in the last twenty years has accelerated these issues.

Yep

Food and beverages are so loosely regulated now.
So much processing and so little real food.
People are trying so many crazy arse supplements now that are not regulated also

A lot of people don't drink enough water. I know that sounds rather simplistic, but poor hydration leads to a lot of health problems.

My ex stepson ate hamburgers and Taco Bell exclusively. Sat most of the day playing video games.

The same reason so many people struggled with COVID. They're fat, out of shape, unhealthy, eat like shite, don't drink enough water, don't exercise, etc.

I dont think people realize how addicting food is. Especially, once you start eating food for the dopamine rush.

I honestly couldn't tell you if the ones I've seen were in line with the averages in the past. I've seen a few that surprised me. It's crossed my mind that it could be related to environmental factors (weird shite in our food, medicine, some of the Covid vaccines, the bio-terror/Covid virus itself, etc).

Someone at my office had a stroke mid 40's, not in the best shape, stressed out all that, smokers, drinker all that.

As much as i believe some of these unexplained strokes are from the covid vaccine, this particular person never got the vaccine.

After a year of tests to see why they had the stroke the doctors blamed it on having had covid two weeks before the stroke.

So, maybe the vaccine leads to strokes or maybe something in covid itself leads to higher risks of strokes. Who knows and i doubt we will ever be told the truth if they do know what's causing the increase.

But, a lot more people now are out of shape, eat like shite, smoke and drink in excess and are stressed out. No doubt this is a contributing factor.
