I'm just happy to see that Louisiana is finally not last in something.

Um my guess is Alaska is the 2nd closest state to the east.

I’d look for a spike in next couple days. And another when we get more tests in state.

Take out New Orleans and redraw the map.

I bet it looks a whole lot different.

These numbers don't mean much at this point (there are a lot more people walking around with it, many with few or no symptoms) but you may have a point. You probably don't need the same restrictions state wide. What is appropriate in NO is not necessarily appropriate for the rural parishes. But people are going overboard with this.

I should clarify that I'm talking about the perception that Louisiana is over reacting compared to other states.

Not whether this entire thing is an over reaction by everyone or not.

I’m glad we tanked the economy for 22 out of 1 million that will get it and .2% out of those 22 will die. And there’s a good chance that .2% would’ve been dead within the next couple of years due to any other of their numerous health problems.

Better to take measures now than risk having this ballon like it did in Italy

Major center of underlying condition is New Orleans with many HIV+ residents

yep, NO should be doing things at the local level instead of having the state force others to do the same shite.

Alaska is a very major refueling for air freight to the U.S. with Asian crews.

So you're saying we need to put draconian sanctions in place?

Only a few are known because only a few are tested. Tens of thousands are turned away from testing, nationwide.
