Baton Rouge law states that vehicles making 85+ decibels of noise greater than 25 feet is against the law.

You must be new to the area. BR law also states killin, robbin, rapin, and dealin are illegal but that fact is often ignored. Exhaust db is pretty low on the give-a-shite meter with brpd

bullshite. In any city on Earth, when the cops start busting people for the little things like littering, noise violations, etc, the crime goes down because the criminals go away.

Correct. It’s the Broken windows theory

I hear them every night on my back porch but thankfully I can't hear them inside my house.

There are bigger crimes going on in Baton Rouge than this for the cops to ignore.

One day I'm buying a train horn, I'm going to find out where these guys live and go lay on the horn for hours. I hope to God they have little kids because I will keep those future turds up all night. Gunna be a fun time because I don't care what people think, trains are an American icon and why mess with my fun?

A hairdryer is 90 decibels.

Different hairdryers sound differently. Which brand did you test, and on what settings? Did having it on high heat, with low fan make a readable difference from low fan and low heat?

For God's sake, man! What did your decibel meter say at the different settings?

This is not the 79’s,80’s, and 90’s BRPD.
This is the new and improved incompetent BRPD.

I know I've been driving around with an expired inspection sticker for 6 months. At this point it's kind of a game to me to see how long I can go with it

I know someone who hasn’t gotten an inspection sticker in about 10 years - a little old librarian (not me)
