I quit watching all news, especially local news, during Covid. WAFB is part of the mockingbird resistance. They repeat the same lies that are told to them from the national news.

WAFB/WBRZ are as bad as national outlets. It's all about clicks. We'd all be better off just ignoring them, not giving them clicks, not watching their channels, not patronizing their advertisers and going to people like Kiran for news.

WBRZ is the worst propaganda child of ABC. They lie and mislead daily.

Waff here in Huntsville posted almost the exact same... Word for word.

As news organizations, it’s a little weird they’re reporting outdated and bad information

Why is WAFB lying about egg prices?
Because WAFB and almost all other news organizations are contractually required to report specific information verbatim as a member of the Associated Press. They are also not allowed to provide alternative information or facts which dispute the AP article.
This is why you'll see every news outlet, all of them, parroting exactly the same words in news reports.
I though this was common knowledge...

How do people function while viewing the world in its entirety through muddy political lenses? At some point the migraine has to kick in.

One of the dumbest aspects is some of these people think the President controls pricing.

Because their target audience can still be seen driving around with masks on in the car....

I’ll report back tomorrow what a dozen cage free from HEB costs me.
According to my HEB app, eggs are as low as $4.36 a dozen

$6.39 for 18 large AA white cage free HEB brand eggs.
$4.26 for a dozen.
$4.26 for a dozen.

Rouses maybe a month or two ago they were $8+ dollars.
Well damn. Property taxes as high as Cheech and Chong in Texas, but no income tax and eggs almost half of the price in Louisiana.
Les Miles and Ed Orgeron never lost control of egg prices the way Brian Kelly has.

I never paid even $5 per dozen. Lots of people get suckered by marketing scams such as "organic" and "free range"
Posted on 4/11/25 at 5:22 pm to Proximo
The last I bought last week were $5.49 a dozen.
