Steak prices are the least of my worries with the Biden disaster

He won't remember any of it but he'll go down as worse than Jimmy Carter.

What market forces are not man made?

Assuming you are correct... so? And how do you weight the impact of our actions in the US vs the actions of governments around the world as they pertain to the price of beef here?

Yeah that's why I cut the time axis off. That's the point.

So you don't think it's his administration causing inflation by printing usd out of thin air?
It doesn't matter what you or I think. Point out on the chart where prices started rising, then we can discuss the causes.

Hasn't "full boat" for rib eye always been around $15-20/lb.?

No. It was 12 dollars a month ago.

8-9 dollars pre Covid

I know you OT ballers would never buy steaks at the grocery store, but Brookshire’s has bone in ribeyes for $6.99 per pound. And that’s about normal sale price. Just swallow your pride when the prices are high and buy what and where you can afford.

Catfish fillets are $10/lb. what’s the deal there, baw. And this was pre-Biden.

Loss of production acreage over the years and banks refusing to lend for new farms because it’s a high risk business causing supply shortages. And input costs, mostly feed, have been outrageous since the Great Recession

Supply and demand in light of the shite going on right now. I think a big part of it is China is buying up all the feed.

When you get 32 downvotes from the OT that's a sign you are right.

This is just doing a simple google search.. without getting into the details.

Walmart has always had the highest beef prices around. I never find a bargain there.

Good on boneless chicken and ground turkey, but beef is always high.
