Depending on time of day and the day you pick. Lunch hours are generally pretty slow. Late afternoon/early evening it'll be ready less than two minutes after checking in. I'll say that the fastest service I had was out of Biloxi. BR locations aren't the quickest. Close second would be the Sonic by Home Depot on Airline (not the Coursey location) and they could bust out burgers during the lunch hour quick.
Fun fact: if you order from the app, all drinks (minus those Flavorista drinks) are half off if you order just a drink. Doesn't apply to combos. Also gives you the option for light ice which I feel like asking a fast food employee to do over an intercom is impossible for them to accomplish.

I love Sonic for 1 reason, it’s the only place I can get lunch for breakfast. But yes, they are slow

Sonic in my area does feel super slow but the line at Popeye's is nuts. It feel like there is only 1 worker in there cooking the chicken, taking the orders and handling the money.
Chick-fil-a has it dial in. They get the most business but that have like 50 workers standing outside ready to take your order.

They are very inconsistent. Some are good and faster, some are shitty and slow. There’s a reason there’s been a lot of closures of them.

Sonic was not originally a fast food place
Like Wal Mart, they started out in small towns and would open 2 joints, 1 at each end of town and you would "cruise" back and forth.

Sonic is probably understaffed because it wasn't always that way.
