Maybe I just have a really great one, but my ortho (who performs fusions and shite) will not do one until you exhaust PT, ESI's etc

If all were like that things would be a whole lot better.

The chiropractor I go to now is in a practice with PT and Ortho. They have a combined approach, but I've only dealt with the chiropractor. The chiro I went to for years was great. He passed a few years back. It took me a couple different tries to find another good one, but this one is a good one.

The first one I tried after we lost our guy I just called and got an appointment. I didn't tell him a history, and he wanted to do an adjustment right away. I didn't let him. Any good chiro should want to get x-rays at least prior to treating you. The least they should do is ask if you have prior x-rays on file or available. He did neither, and I didn't stick around for the adjustment.

Medical errors cause an estimated quarter million deaths
This is a garbage number and far overestimates death due to medical error.

Despite an overall increase in the number of deaths due to AEMT over time, the national age-standardized mortality rate due to AEMT decreased by 21.4%

I guess reading isn't your strong suit.

If my Pops had gotten the procedure the surgeon wanted him to have originally there was around an 85% chance he would have never worked again, at least not in a field anywhere close to what he was in. He would have very likely been on disability for the rest of his life. That one surgery would have changed his life forever.

So, I guess you're right my Pops choosing to see a chiropractor once or twice every month or so was a hell of alot worse than not being able to work and likely being on pain meds the rest of his life.

I’ve had a hip impingement cleared and a nerve issue at L5 cleared in minimal chiropractor visits.

Give me this approach to pain meds and surgery every time.
