Chiropractors exist because of the plaintiffs’ bar

Did she even die? I thought she was just paralyzed. And the only reason it’s a national story is because she is young and good looking. Some 60 year old hag isn’t getting the front page of the NY Post.

Found a chiropractor

I for one am shocked that pseudoscientific quackery could lead to someone dying.
I love these comments. If not for a chiropractor my Pops would have been retired and on disability at the age of 28. If the non-quack surgeon had his way he would have had a miserable life. It turns out that Pops went 30+ years without a back surgery, and when he finally had one it was for a bone spur and took literally 20 minutes and no recovery.
Fortunately, he saw a good chiropractor two days prior to his scheduled surgery. He continued to regularly see a chiropractor the rest of his life.

Chiropractic and osteopathy are quackery and anyone subscribing to them is putting his life closer to the line than he should. It’s pseudoscience.

had back problems from a couple of herniated discs in high school and college.
thought chiros were quacks. wife convinced me to go see one.
apparently my hips joints were out of whack. saw him for a month with a 3x2x1 regiment.
havent had an issue since. decade plus of what I thought was lingering back pain...fixed in a month.

But the media doesn’t mention a peep about vaccine side effects

Which is it, genius?
Your reading comprehension sucks arse.
ETA: misfire. The original story involved a chiro patient with an incredibly rare bone disease but that wasn’t linked in OP.

Some dumb mfers here.
Not a chiro, but I started going to one because it worked so well on our horses that I knew there was something besides placebo effect going on. I'd suffered from a couple chronic issues from some fairly serious issues. One of them only flared up once a year or so, and if I didn't catch it quick and lay in bed for a day or 2 while rotating heat and ice on my back the. I was down with excruciating pain for up to a week. I went in, listened and was skeptical about what he said was causing my recurring pain. I was in the middle stages of a bout with it and came out a believer. No rotating ice/heat for days, the issue resolved itself within a couple hours of the visit. I've gone regularly since and have gone from a baseline of low to moderate pain with occasional serious flare ups to a baseline of no pain and occasional serious flare ups that go away soon after treatment. I was seeing a spinal surgeon when I lived in BR and was on narcotic pain meds and on the clock for inevitable surgery. Now I don't see any doctors ever.
The point is, why is the media using scare tactics against chiropractors when the medical industrial complex is far far scarier? No pretty girls were among the quarter million dead last year or the countless others harmed but still alive?

I'm comparing Chropractic error to medicall errors, not lumping them together. Why is the one that's rare the top story in the world when the other is an exponentially larger problem? I guess we're just used to medical doctors killing people?

Got you hooked. Your problem is not fixed. They are just constantly treating it. If that works for you, good. That regular back cracking will catch up with you in later years and will not be pleasant. Backs are tricky. I was fortunate that I had a great doc that fixed mine and I haven’t been back to see him since.

By all means, let a surgeon cut into you. Listen when they tell you their success rate. Listen when they sell you the knife as the only option. Listen when they tell you you need another surgery, and another, and another.
I know more people fricked by spinal surgeons than chiropractors. I know enough people legitimately helped by good chiropractors that I will never look at surgery as the first or best option without at least first getting my chiropractor's opinion.

Maybe I just have a really great one, but my ortho (who performs fusions and shite) will not do one until you exhaust PT, ESI's etc
