I would also say that a huge reason is because it's much easier for a woman to sleep with 100 dudes than a dude with 100 broads.

an average woman could walk into a bar and have 100 guys wanting to frick her on the spot. An average man could walk into 100 bars and have 1 woman wanting to frick him on the spot. It's a simple case of supply and demand. It's 100 times more difficult for a man to get laid than a woman. When something is difficult you receive praise for accomplishing it.

Women are also the #1 slut shamers. They don't like other women getting male attention for simply giving up the 'tang.

I'd say the advent of birth control and abortion might have more to do with making the "shaming no longer exist" than does paternity testing.

Paternity testing of a birthed child can prevent a certain male from being a cuckold, but it still does not relieve the female or her community (family for the most part) from the "burdens" of that child. A male can spread his seed far without having that burden if he doesn't want it or isn't forced into doing it, in theory. The cost of producing an egg is expensive, with a limited resource per female, with a "best used by date," where as a man could father children well into his dotage as long as he can get it up.

Birth control/abortion has "leveled" the sexual playing field for women, allowing them the option to go from bed to bed like men can do.

Ok, let's throw average out the window.

If Leonardo DiCaprio walks into a bar, he can have sex instantly with probably 99% of the eligible women there if he wanted to.

If he did so, night after night at Bogies, people would praise him as a badass.

If any chick, famous or not, did that, people would call her a huge slut.

Look, I'm no feminist, I can just see the double standard. I'm all for throwing slut shaming out the window so women become more promiscuous.
