Define really wealthy. What's the low end net worth of really wealthy?

I want wealth for the security of my family and their families. You are correct about most of the uber wealthy. I would not change lives with any of the richest people I can think of. I seems like a dream life until you see behind the scenes. That's not to say they are all like that, but it's a different world. I once thought I wanted to be a part of it, but now I only dip in deep enough to stay in the know. Knowledge is power.

In my hood there are a few that either are massively in debt or have secret family money

If it’s the first I don’t envy them but if it’s the second I’m just a bit jealous

Most people that are rich don't show it at all. OP is thinking about celebrities or wanna be celebrities want to show off their money.

The wealthy that I know don’t flash it. They may dress quality and drive the usual nice car and have a nice home, but aren’t flashing labels or exclaiming “look at me.” They vacation, dine in nice restaurants, share their wealth with their kids, etc., but never talk about their money like those who think they’re wealthy.

Agree with everything but this, my off-spring didn’t have the nicest cars, but got a 1st class education.

People without money, or that are just well off, do it to feel good and show off.

I think actually rich people do it because "why not, I'm rich" mentality

Spend money on what you enjoy. If you don’t give a shite about boats, don’t get one just because your neighbor has one. Same for every other material thing.

The neighborhood I live in now isn't all that bad with this. In Fairhope, it would be unbelievable to see how much these fools are in debt with their house, 4 cars, golf carts, boats, side by sides they have

I drive a 2016 Accord. I live in a very modest home. I wear Walmart clothes. I’m also a millionaire. I don’t exude wealth because I choose not to. But I help others anonymously.

Because not everyone can have a new Tahoe, new house, new clothes, private school etc all at the same time.

It’s a statistical fact most of these people are in debt and will have zero at death. Enjoy.

I see the opposite where I’m sitting watching an absolute magician with the money work and you’d think he cut grass for a living.

I’m serious when I say this given the times, people’s feelings get hurt when they figure out what im worth - Paul Wall

More than $2.5MM.

Zero debt. No debt. None. More than 1-2 houses. House 2 is a family house for folks on hard times if it happens.

Passive income in the 6 figures

Can cover their entire families indebtedness, all kids grandkids etc. m

LAL - like a Lannister. I pay all my debts.

This is what we should all be aiming for.

No worries, car works, and can help anyone any time he so pleases.

This is the life.
