I wish LSU had never left Pineville. It was the perfect site for a state university. Centrally located, rural, but near an urban center. Unlimited space for expansion. Imagine Tiger Stadium nestled among the stately pines and rolling hills of Cenla.

At the risk of being labeled a racist, it's a predominately black area - that's why. Name one predominately black area that rebounded without gentrification....I'll hang up and listen.

And LSU would be just another boring, blue Law having Baptist bullshite college if it was in CenLA.

Steve has sat in front of me all my life in Tiger Stadium. When I was in high school I was drinking at the Bengal thanks to him.
His brother Dominic ran Bonfanti Marine on Greenwell Springs Road and he sat directly in front of me. They always had hands in many things.

I usually park around that area for football games. My buzz goes away quickly when walking back to my truck after games, always keep my head on a swivel.
