If the course is open. If it's Saturday and there are 3 foursomes in front of my 4, frick off. There's no where for you to go. Get off my arse and find some friends. Solos shouldn't be allowed on the course on the weekends except the first 3-4 tee times. After that, you should have to be partnered with 3 other guys without friends.

The middle class and nouveau riche has ruined golf, imo. Once considered a classy gentalmans game. Now going to any public & private course is like frequenting a Dave and Busters.

Not really true. I'd counter with anyone can golf, but not everyone can hit a 300 foot home run, chase down line drives in the outfield, throw runners out with a rocket arm, and run the bases with speed.
Yes, anyone can play softball, but few play well. Anyone can golf, but few play well.
