You are the dumbass who posted his offer letter from Raytheon with contact info on your potential boss. You are too dumb to have kids and i highly encourage you to not have kids.

I'm not sure what this thread is about. You seem to clearly understand that you have to choose your life partner carefully.

It takes many things to have a successful marriage and family. That requires some intelligence to make those decisions properly. Your fears are based on what ignorant people do.

Pretty much the opposite of my marriage.

Marriage is the best companionship experience I could imagine. And it involves sex without much effort and incredible sex when I put in a little effort.

I think this is likely the attitude that leads people towards divorce. You should not get married ever, if your first thought is how can this benefit me (man). Neither should a woman for that matter. You are pretty selfish and likely a shitty person if that's what you are looking for. You should marry someone because you love them and you want to spend your life with them.

Touche.

I realize that the court system has evolved with this very premise at the forefront. But like all policy changes based on stereotypes, it does not really focus on changing social dynamics.

The truth is, alimony is a outdated concept. The very premise that grown adults can not find a way to support themselves without a spouse is silly.

Identify as a woman before you go to divorce court.

questioning marriage is fine. But the "red pill" culture is an embarrassing, blame women for your love problems, phenomenon that needs to stop.

Bingo. Look for parity. Anything else makes the marriage unstable.

Dude, it's called a prenup. I don't care how much you love a woman, or how much she loves you, or anything else, a prenup is just a straight up common sense precaution for both sides.

Prenups are pointless unless you are a millionaire. There is no good to having a prenup if you are a middle class thousandaire. Everything that you earn while you are married, is community property. Prenups only protect what you go into the marriage with, and a likely settlement in the event of a divorce.

I hear ya about the court/divorce stuff

quote:

Lately, it seems many women just want a someone to save them from their bad decisions in life. Divorce court is so one-sided against men its laughable. There is literally no problems for a woman in divorce proceedings, so it encourages hyper-gamy and possible spousal abuse.

I want to have a family, but I do not want to just be a rescue boat for someone nor a baby-daddy just for the sake of having kids.

but I don't understand... sounds like YOUR only options are to either marry a woman who has kids already or to marry a woman only to have her leave you after having kids... why is that your only options? Or am I reading it wrong?
