As long as the ice machine is working I’m good.

I recently encountered one that dispensed ice and water and was allegedly triggered by infrared when you placed the ice bucket under the chute. It had a homemade sign saying to use your hand if the bucket did not trigger the beam.

I thought I was on Candid Camera. Nothing I did would make it work, until the second I gave up and moved the bucket away, at which time it would spray water or spit out ice. After about three rounds, I was ready to commit vandalism.

Those prices are good. I just stayed in Los Angeles and couldn't find a hotel drink under $6.00

Quite often the manager lets me grab a drink and a snack without paying. Vending machines never did that.

Nothing to maintain, easier to manage.

It's just a pain and arse that you have to go to the hotel clerk about getting a Cold drink and having to pay with card

Just tell them to put it on your room.

These are the stories that make me, for just a second at least, want to quit my job and work as security watching this type of surveillance. LOL

Join Hilton Honors and they’ll give you two bottles of water at the desk when you arrive.

I've spent more time in hotels than I care to remember working on the road.

This is day 1 stuff. As a beer drinker, you quickly learn to bring your drinks with you.

A guy I worked with became a really good friend because we had adjoining suites at the same place for 2 years working 18 on 10 off. We had a little stove, cooked some awesome meals and drank a shite ton of beer.
