So you won't be called "white boy" when ordering your chicken at the Popeyes.

Pretty sure y'all aren't allowed in Popeye's any more. It's kind of a micro aggression and that's kind of a big deal.

Who on the OT is confident enough to sport these in public?

Confidence has nothing to do with it...why does a man want to wear a shoe that looks like a woman's purse?

Do you mean that exact weird looking shoe or just high tops with white soles?

I have a hard time believing you saw 3 pair of those shoes, let alone a dozen.

I'm sure he didn't mean him personally, he probably knows a guy who knows a guy and he had them on. Okay, maybe he didn't but you could imagine what it would be like if he did.

$2-3k, depending what style backpack you go with. Purses are afterall a form of white male micro-aggression.

If you want to take out that frustration, then for $500 you can burn this white male candle to the ground.

The color is one our culture reserves for women. Gays also feel free.

What the heck is all that strapping and gadgets about?

You have three issues with that shoe. "Strappy" . Something hanging down. some color

You may have been at the airport when the gay chorus came through.

That shoe has not appeared in my rural mountain region. Probably never will. Hiking boots, work boots, and sandals in summer. "Tennis" shoes in all but winter. No one male wears those hereabouts. Puts the Atl in the "Castro" of SF.

This is what one ad says:

Scale the urban jungle in style with these mid top trainers from Buscemi. Crafted from smooth yet durable grained leather, the classic construction is given an uplift with the gold toned turnlock fastening. Rock these with your favourite jeans to standout from the crowd.

My guess is that they want to standout in the crowd.

Maybe if I was black but I am too white for that.

If I were black I'd wear some pretty cool stuff, I think. I'd be all over the fashion trends.

But alas, I am but a simple white man who values the respect of other white people.
