Price is product. People who wear these want you to believe that they are wealthy because they spent all their money on expensive shoes. It's the current, perceived-to-be-less-trashy equivalent of gold-nugget rings.

It's weird to me that everyone in here sees these and screams "gay!" They just look like shoes a young black dude would wear. Not for me, but whatever.
