That's a stupid arguement and if you have any semblance of intelligence you know that. Of course they could, or they could get hit by a bus, exercising and eating right still lowers the chance of those health problems.

And you can do things or this this case, not do things to accelerate death.

Fallguy comes from a stock of tall humans. I'm 6'3 and also the shortest guy on my dad's side of the family. My paw paw was 6'6. My dad was 6'4". My little girl is 5'3 at 11

I understand what it takes to raise kids. I have two and was the primary caregiver to both and a handicap sister on top of working a full time job with OT. In my mind I knew I had to stay healthy both mentally and physically. I not only did this for myself but my children and family. You can’t take care of your children from the grave.

Again, I've never said any of this is a good excuse I'm saying people can be overweight and not lazy.

But working out and living longer is an almost laughable comparison. Staying thin absolutely is important, but luck and genetics are just as important. Staying thin is not about going to the gym. Its about burning calories and eating well.

Everyone talking about working out, when 99% of the world that is skinny never works out. They simply walk most places they go and eat less calories than they burn by choice or because of lack of food.

Hell im not arguing with you. I’m still going to the gym I just think its naive to say every single person who doesn’t exercise does so by choice.

I was assuming. I haven't been measured since I was probably 20 and went about a month ago. I got taller.

I hope that doesn't upset you.

It’s not only about living longer it’s also about bouncing back from illness and having the energy to do things that help you to continue to walk and move.

His posting reminds me of the guy who pretty much pretended he was a personal trainer and ran marathons but ended up being a sham.

His name escapes me right now.

But Mingo's posting style makes sense now. He is very combative

People need to stop being coddled. Do everything with a purpose. Every moment you are awake is a moment you can be improving and getting shite done. Then you go to sleep to refuel for the next day. Laziness is a physical and mental killer.
