Not may. It would be very bad for the environment. That's a lot of plastic.

There are utensils made from plant cellulose which are compostable.

Time is money. If I can save another hour per week switching to paper it seems like a no brainer.

Paper plates are biodegradable. He’s not hurting the environment and is actually helping by not wasting water by washing plates unnecessarily.

How very sanctimonious of you to presume he should indoctrinate his children into your religious dogma.

Mr. Science man, are you implying paper is not biodegradable and that water isn’t a finite resource?

You sure do love words like impose, imply and indoctrinate. None of which I have done.

I simply stated people are lazy, and how in general, folks should strive to leave the planet a better place. Pretty sure that is a harmless, and generally supported statement to make. There are many ways to do the above, whether that is done by stopping personal use of single-use plastics or paper products that take >5 years to decompose - or neither and you have other methods of being "green" or reducing your carbon footprint. We all do what we can, or you would hope so.

Your time would be better spent preaching your carbon footprint doctrine in places that are actually a net negative for the environment instead of presuming to tell a user how to raise his children.

Assuming time machines are real, how would she know when/where you conceived your travel ball-playing carbon debt?

Also, do they make organic time machines?

So typical of your types. I’m on my way to Ingles now to buy some plastic shite in your honor, prettybird.

Tell me how all that is better than a simple paper plate that gets thrown away and turns into dirt in a few months?

production and transportation and shipping of the amount of plates you have to use - not to mention the plastic.

You've pegged me perfectly with only 4-5 posts on an LSU football forum, DAMN you're good.

And do it, bro, you will sure show me, TigerontheMountain. If your handle means you like doing things on mountains - you should throw all your trash on the next mountain you hike/visit. Go all in.

I live in the mountains. Why would I waste it like that when we just burn it instead? Much more efficient.
