Our citizens are ignorant and lazy. It's really sad. Especially, when in a car. Instead of just waiting to get home and disposing of it properly, we check our rear view/side mirrors to make sure we're in the clear and toss it out.
It's basically the same people that make us first in the worst nationwide categories and last in the best categories....
I had a friend move here from the West coast and he said that was one of the first things he noticed.

saddens me how dirty New Orleans is. Come on, people, how hard is it put your trash where it belongs and not just throw it wherever you please?
Entitlement. Same reason the projects looked like shite. Why should they do shite when someone else will? Why work when someone will pay me to sit on my arse at home and give me free shite?

Because they are primarily conservative and view this as a liberal cause, it really is as simple as that. Neither side logically thinks anything out anymore, they take the opposite position as the other side and defend it to the death. Everything is partisan, groupthink bullshite.
This 100%. Republicans have gone so far to be the opposite of Democrats that they openly support pollution now.

Because of agendas that are constantly exposed like the hack quoted above. More oil is available today than ever before. So-called experts are consistently wrong. Not even closely wrong either.

Most care deeply but it's also a complicated economic issue that can't be fixed with warm and fuzzy feelings about the environment.. what exactly do you propose is done.. should we let the river flow its natural course? Do we cut off our economic lifeblood? Where's the money going to come from? Where are the displaced people going to live and who's going to pay for it?

This. I was driving today with my underaged daughter and noticing how much shite there was on the sides of the road. I even told her, "I gave a pass for a few months for flood debris, but this isn't from the flood."

In other words you've never seen a clean Louisiana. So what you see now is all you've ever known.
Typical liberal snowflake.

Fair enough. At the other end, Democrats openly support disregarding federal immigration laws and hate white people. So what's a guy to do.

They have drank the kool-aide that environmental responsibility is contrary to conservative ideals of "free market capitalism," and making sure that you properly identify as a "conservative" is the most important thing in these realms of discussion.

Louisianians do, it's just masked in the name of hunting and fishing. It's more manly to hug a tree when you're camouflaged like one. Ever wonder what the difference is between Ducks Unlimited and The Audubon Society?
The gun raffle.
The gun raffle.
