Litter is bad and sucks. But it isn't nearly the start or even a comparatively remotely significant portion of the real issue. The real issue is the oil companies who we rely so much on economically who totally fricked up our coast, refused to return to the state they found it like they legally agreed to do then sought and were granted refuge by our corrupt government.

Louisianians do, it's just masked in the name of hunting and fishing. It's more manly to hug a tree when you're camouflaged like one. Ever wonder what the difference is between Ducks Unlimited and The Audubon Society?

The gun raffle.

Sportsman are responsible for trashing up the state?

Fair enough. At the other end, Democrats openly support disregarding federal immigration laws and hate white people. So what's a guy to do.

And Socialism (communism lite), massive regulations, black lives matter, carbon taxes, higher tax rates, open borders, immigration from terrorist countries, gun grabbing....

You remedial? I answered the subject line. I made zero mention of sportsman and litter, etc. I said men in your state generally care about the environment they USE. it's manly tree hugging.

Sao's right. All these coonass Republicans wouldn't dare litter on their hunting lease, but dump trash or chemicals off an oil platform? Meh, frick it.

You dumbasses should visit the outdoor board once in a while. Your perspective of them all being redneck trash is ignorant.

It's mostly the non-sportsmen that are trashing the state.

The sportsmen get all the blame just like with everything else

It's not their fault, it's society's fault. They're oppressed remember?

It saddens me how dirty New Orleans is. Come on, people, how hard is it put your trash where it belongs and not just throw it wherever you please?

It really is shocking how much people litter even when there are nearby and easily accessible trash cans

You're leaving out a huge segment of the population, for your own political bias.

I read the OB as much as the OT. I know they're not all necks but I damn sure know that they are environmentalists at heart as well. Problem is, they want a clean world but only if it's their clean world. Same shite over here in Texas so it's not just an LA thing.

The one you're making painfully clear in this thread.

One book that tackles this question is called Strangers in Their Own Land. You should give it a read.

Littering is celebrated in the form of Mardi Gras. People just keep throwing trash out year round.

You mean the 60% of residents that live in New Orleans.
