The police need to show an inordinate amount of restraint.
They will be confronted with rioters trying to provoke them to shoot so that this thing will escalate to a point where it becomes civilian versus police and people will be forced to figure out which side you’re on. It can become very confusing.

When authorities shoot protesters, they turn morons into martyrs. Property owners need to be the ones pulling the trigger to protect their businesses.
