Nope.
All the Boston Tea Party did was to throw tea into the water. Merchandise only, the merchandise that was being unfairly (in their minds) taxed. There was no wanton destruction of random property or retail outlets. There was no destruction even of the ships, only tea.

I hate the riots as much as anyone else. But if you do that, start unloading weapons into crowds of people, that will go beyond the point of no return. We can never again go back to being a peaceful nation.
It would be impossible to ever truly trust the government anymore. Not to mention it would escalate extremely quickly from shooting only rioters to shooting innocent citizens who were trying to peacefully and legally assemble.

Think Trump should call Kim Jon Un and see what he would do in this situation. Couple of rounds of anti aircraft fire should put the crowds to rest. These cowards ain't ready to die. The reason they keep coming out is because government is looking the other way.
