Hate to burst your bubble but Louisiana wouldn’t have an economy if it wasn’t for NO, BR, and the oil/gas south of I-10.
Obviously south has its own problems with corruption and mismanagement and its religion and politics are polar opposites but south of I-10 pays the bills for the rest of the state.

Why not
I was told "shooting everything that walks" by the head guys in charge. I didn't agree with the statement but I wasn't the one in charge either.
Personally, I love all my South Louisiana brothers and sisters even though they rustle my jimmies here from time to time.

because they stink, and they can't read good

The north has plenty of gas, not much oil tho.

HOLY SHAT!?!!? There’s no way you’re real. But that’s the mindset right there, especially from Baton Rouge.
Now, I can really care less what some couyon has to say about North La, but its just sad really. These people never leave their bubble nor their Families.
There’s some really really good people down there but some are just ignorant, like hicks up North.

If the OP is pissed about roads in North La., he needs to come check out what passes for roads in S.La. I don’t know (or care) what either region thinks about the other. We can all agree that roads , highways, and streets are woefully addressed by the state and local governments.

south louisiana hates everyone

Why should I go to North Louisiana? What does it have that South Louisiana does not? What attraction should I visit? What festival is worth attending? Is there some big annual event that is worth driving up there for?
I'm not asking to be facetious. Seriously, what is worth visiting North Louisiana for?
If the argument is that North Louisiana is a great place to live, I can buy that, but if the argument is that it's a great place to VISIT, then please substantiate that claim, because I don't see how someone could make that claim in good faith. I'm hard pressed to imagine a part of the United States with less to offer a visitor from South Louisiana than the I-20 corridor.

Ew...gross. Texas Golden Triangle is disgusting.

I've honestly never met anyone IRL from either south or north LA that really had strong feelings about either

Let's be honest. Since I was a kid, people in north Louisiana have had a major inferiority complex vis-a-vis the south.
Wut?! It’s the exact opposite….South La folk have always trashed the northern part of the state…always. Don’t be a moron.

Too many Republican voters up north. South Louisiana likes to elect dems to positions like Mayor, governor and senator. You pesky northerns are the only thing keeping that from being a landslide for dems in our state elections.

If you go to the areas of South Louisiana that are mostly Cajuns, the politicians are all Republican. The reason there are so many democrat local officials is because so much of South Louisiana is majority black. Shreveport elects moronic kleptomaniac democrats, too, ya know.
