Why does my AC at home go out every year but my car one never does?

Are they different kinds of systems? Is the home AC much more complicated? Do car ACs even have capacitors?

I feel like I would be better off with car ACs in every room.

Just pull the car in the house, seal up the doors and windows nice and tight, crank er up and let er cool! Your worries will all be gone.*

*ETA: This is only a joke. If you haven't already killed yourself, don't do it......you will die.

You need a new capacitor or your AC breaks every year?

Get a US made capacitor. It'll cost a little extra, but will last years longer.

if your ac goes out every single year... might be time to get a new AC. Unless you are changing out a different part every year, in which case you've already got an old system with all new parts.

I do. In a couple of years, I’m replacing the whole system and maybe even adding more vents if that’s possible. I’ve just got to start researching brands for a typical home and hopefully find a good company. It won’t be cheap, but I’d like good work.

Clean your outdoor unit every year with the foam cleaner. Change your filters regularly.

More bigger, brake more.

More smaller, break less.

Ha. Speak for yourself. I work on car A/C a lot more than home. Maybe your cars are just newer?

Be careful what advise you give. Some low I.Q. person might do it. The family reads his T.D. posts and files wrongful death against you.
