The sitcom Soap(debuted in 1977) was the first tv show I remember having an openly gay character(Billy Crystal)….very funny show BTW. Just progressed more and more from that point.

They aren't pushing an agenda. That's what they believe, that's what their perspective is. There's no big conspiracy to turn your kids gay (not possible). They just happen to be the ones writing your shows.

I do forget how much it's on the mind of people in the South moreso than other places in the country. I only remember when I talk to someone and they bring up that someone else is gay and then change their facial expression, or they "soften" it. I don't care if someone is gay, and I don't see how it's relevant even a little bit.

Oddly enough, the number of young people claiming to be trans is dropping significantly. It seems that those genetic traits are controlled by what is popular at the time.

I've never understood how seeing gay people in TV, books, and movies was supposed to turn kids gay.
Everybody should think of their own personal experience: Could any amount of watching TV shows with gay characters have changed your sexual orientation? Of course not.

My wife and I started the Netflix series "The Beast in Me" last night.
