I don't. This is just bizarre. I'm one of those people who (correctly) thinks there's a lot less racism than there was in the past. I've gotten into quite a few arguments with leftists about that over the years (on other messageboards, not here).
This is the first time I've ever encountered something that made me think I was wrong and some people are actually more racist than I thought they were.

I bet if you asked 10 random students at LSU what percentage of the population was gay, they'd probably say 15-25%. Is the issues as prevalent as some claim it is, probably not. But, it does have an effect on a lot of people's perception of reality.
