Rhodesia was literally the bread basket of Africa. Then Mugabe killed or ran off all the White farmers. Now "Zimbabwe" can't even feed it's own people. Famine and starvation are rampant. They are begging the White farmers who were only exiled and not killed to come back. Those are facts that no amount of brainwashing, liberal bullshite, or screams of racism can cover up.
I don't think anyone is even arguing against this

Well it does, I have two staring at me right now.

I'm your opinion, which is more powerful - all major tv news outlets except for one, Twitter, and most major newspapers across the country, or, some people making memes on 4 chan and some ads posted on Facebook by some foreigners?
More Americans saw russian propaganda on facebook than watched the superbowl. You tell me.

I don't know if I buy that number

The brainwashing is complete.

That’s the number reported by the party with a vested interest in having that number be as low as possible

And what do you base that assertion on?

Yeah, sure. Because somewhere on a page someone liked once a meme got reposted that got hosted from an overseas server, means that it has the same clout as network television.
Ok.

Just based on the number of Americans and the number of Americans on Facebook.

Are you really convinced that Facebook ads are more influential than the combined powers of ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, CNN, WAPO, HuffPo, NYT, LAT, Twitter, YT, and Google?

I don't have any work to show. I think 126,000,000 is high, you can just prove me wrong by linking where you got that

I honestly don't even notice. I think it says something about our society that people do notice and it bothers them.
I don't think it remotely makes them a bad person by itself, just a very interesting thing about our culture and how it is changing.
In 20 years there won't be threads like this on message boards.

It is an estimate by Facebook based on an assumption that the 11.4 million people who were served data directly transferred it to every other person who they had on their list and every person it was transferred to read or saw the ad.
Not to mention the use of the word “may”.
And, not to mention this:
So, it was a made up number based on an assumption that implies a viewership of ten times the amount of those who it was verified that they saw it followed by the idea that every individual who had it grace their feed viewed it as well, which is insane, considering the fact that it accounted for .004% of all data on news feeds.

Facebook does not know, however, how many of those 126 million people actually saw one of those posts, or how many may have scrolled past it or simply not logged in on the day that one of the posts was being served in their News Feed.
quote:
Nevertheless, Facebook says in its testimony that the posts from those pages represented "a tiny fraction of the overall content on Facebook." "This equals about four-thousandths of one percent (0.004%) of content in News Feed, or approximately 1 out of 23,000 pieces of content," Stretch writes. "Put another way, if each of these posts were a commercial on television, you'd have to watch more than 600 hours of television to see something from the IRA."

You know it's funny. You see people on this board and especially PT laugh and make fun of the left for melting over stupid things.
But then you have something as trivial as gay people being on tv and you see retarded threads like this with 170 upvotes. Threads like this are proof that snowflakes exists on both sides of the spectrum

i am not homophobic,not a racist
then why do these things in TV shows trigger you? if you are focusing on the race or sexuality of a fake hypothetical TV relationship (that guess what! people of all races and sexualities are bound to watch!) and that bothers you where as a relationship between two straight white people dont bother you, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you're probably a racist and homophobic.
Love is love. Race or sexual orientation shouldnt affect your views on that.
